Frozen sprouts are good, as you can turn it into a game. Also, putting peas into there food is also good.

I can just imagine walking into your house after your dogs been on brussel sprouts phew!

take to vet - it will cost - but if you can afford to buy a `thoroughbred` lab then you can afford to give her proper

treatment.

Our german shepherds used to like all vegetables - as I was preparing our meal - I would give them whatever vegetable I was preparing - favourites were carrots, brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower - all raw.

My friend has always added a few cooked vegetables into their dogs tea (again whatever they are having for their evening meal )

Don't think you can go wrong with a few veggies a day - they are supposed to keep the coat in good condition

As for fruits - mine always loved an apple or pear

I have recently had a puppy and was given a list by the breeder to say that raisins are toxic for dogs and can cause kidney failure

Hope this helps

Practically any raw veg (and fruit) is good for dogs. It's better chopped up in a food processer as they can't get all the goodness out when fed whole. Evcerything should be in moderation of course. Sprouts and cabbage have the same effect on dogs as they do on humans!

Google for BARF (bones %26amp; raw food) and you'll get plenty of ideas.

veggies are good for dogs, and raw is best. my rhodesian likes her veggies cooked, my mastiff raw. i do a little of each, along with sweet potatos, cottage cheese, and for a treat, some shredded cheese. the carrots, green beans, and avocado are my dogs favorites. for the bald spot..check with the vet, but i will say maybe add some fish oil to the diet.

all our german shepherds love carrots, cauli and swede, raw or cooked. They will not eat sprouts, just play with them until there is so much mess you have to take them away from the dogs or spend hours peeling bits of sprout from the floor, walls, and picking it out of their fur etc. Our vet recommends raw veg rather than commercial dental chews to keep teeth clean. I had a mongrel when I was a child and she used to pick blackberries from the bushes a lot like a fox would do in the wild. Apples are fine too.

as for the hair on her ear speak to your vet at her 6 month check, or if you notice her scratching or rubbing at her ear, go sooner.

it could be loose hair if her ears are fluffy, we have to 'pluck' the loose hair from our long haired dog as he moults there as much as anywhere alse.
