Is cat hair damaging to human lungs?

is cat hair damaging to human lungs?

Is cat hair damaging to human lungs?

As far as actually damaging, not sure. But it can be very hard on peple with allergies, and can make the difference sometimes between allergies turning into asthma.

Still, people who love cats to that stubborn amount, would say for them the benefit outweighs the risks.

Take all pieces of material from time to time, and put them in the washer and drier. That can help alot! And use a detergent nobody is allergic to, like Arm and Hammer is a good one.

Get a dust mask, do this before washing the materials. Vacuum where the cat lays. And while still wearing the mask, sweep up floors that don't have rugs.

You're cat is gonna love it, too!

Not at all!

Is cat hair damaging to human lungs?

I don't think you can get it into your lungs easily, but any thing that is not air in the lungs can damage it.

Is cat hair damaging to human lungs?

Yes , specially dangerous for girls(kids) !

If you took a big pile of it and inhaled it all directly into the lungs, probably. But you maybe thinking cat dander which some people can be allergic to and inhaled. I'm sure people are allergic to cat hair as well, but it'd be pretty darn near impossible for the hair to get into the lungs, seeing how the mucus lining the airways would stop it from reaching the lungs.

Is cat hair damaging to human lungs?

no we have nose hairs and it prevents alot of stuff from getting in our lungs

there is more harmful things we breath in every day

so dont worry about cat hair!

Is cat hair damaging to human lungs?

Yes, cat hairs aren't like our own hairs. A cat cleans it's hairs by licking, we use shampoo/soap, and a cat is always out in the grass %26amp; dirt... more mites %26amp; stuff. As a cat sheds its hairs, it lies there or floats around the room %26amp; house, I have been in a house where there were about 20 cats and I saw cat hairs everywhere, I couldn't breathe, I had to get out before I choked, get on your tounge....YUCK!!! If your're breathing that, it has to get into your lungs *cough cough choke choke*. Think, cat hairs in you lungs? I think it would damage my lungs. I'm not saying it's not safe to have a cat, but if shedding %26amp; u get ebough in your lungs, it very well could be.
