Clip in extensions are definately much easier to wear and look after than the weaved/glued in variety. I've had both and the clip in's last much longer, because you don't tend to sleep in them (therefore they need less brushing).
Sally's is a great place to buy them (around 鎷?5 a set - pretty cheap). If you want them to thicken up your own hair, or if you are only adding a short lentgh then these are fine. If you want to make a dramatic difference though, you may need two or three sets to put in at different heights on your scalp to look realistic.
If however you need an actual wig (due to hair loss, or if you have very short hair) the cheapest I've found is forever hair (www.foreverhair.co.uk).

be careful where you buy real human hair wigs as i read an article once about Russian girls whose families cut their hair off to sell for a few pounds (if that) the hair was then use for hair extensions in this country (and probably other rich countries) after being treated and dyed. Its ok but it can tend to dry out your hair. If your going to use it I suggest doing a deep conditioning treatment every so often and cutting back on the hot tools (flat irons, blow drying etc). Some people really swear it makes the hair grow fast, though.

There are many factors that determin how long a weave will last.
1. Hair quality. If you buy good hair, it will be able to withstand the everyday styling, weather, sweating or whatever that you do to it..lol Really good hair can last you about 2 to 3 months...(dont recommend you keep your weave in longer than that)
2. You! if you want your weave to last you have to take really good care of it.. that means that you should wrap your hair at night, dont put to many different products in it and dont wet your hair everyday.
3. Sew in or Bond in. Sew in weaves generally last longer. If is also healthier for the hair. So if you prefer to get your hair bonded in, dont expect maximun usuage of the style. P.S Glue damages hair if not well maintained and removed.
Finally, the asymetrical bob is Hott right now...It give you a sexy edgey look that can be worn anywhere...If you follow these instruction Im pretty sure you can get al least 2months with it...

In terms of it being dangerous there is no way it could be. It is hair. Some areas use sewage sludge from big cities as a fertilizer and there is little risk.

Ive had both, and it really depends on how you get them put in if you wanna know which on is better, or is going to last the longest. if you get real hair, at least you know that its the real deal. Fake har also tends to break apart more due to shampo usage.
If you plan on leaving the extensions in for awhile human hair is better because it looks more natural and it can be styled just like your own hair. If you are need extensions for a special occasions you can get away with synthetic ones but you cannot style them with heat. I hope that helps.

Human hair, 100%!! Synthetic hair gets tangled much easier, and tends to look messier all the time. Plus, you can't style it. Human hair is much pricier, but well worth the money. If you don't want to spend that kind of cash, they make a synthetic natural, which is really good. It doesn't tangle like synthetic, and you can style it with curling irons and straighteners without damaging it. Best of luck to you!

The only human hair I've seen is silky straight and that would defeat the whole purpose of locs. Plus human hair tends to be more expensive than synthetic. So to save trouble I would go with synthetic.

I've washed a dog in Tide before ... and I've even washed myself in Tide before ... it didn't kill either one of us! But I can tell ya -- it wasn't very gentle on my skin!! The problem that I can see with this is that the hair will have come from several donors and each hair type will therefore take the dye differently. A strand test will not help because the hair will not be evenly distributed around the wig.
See a hairdresser for this one - they may be able to help, otherwise you will have to send it back or just wear it as it is.

I seriously think that "Human Hair" comes from people in countries worldwide that sell their hair for profit. These women and men grow their hair for the sole purpose of cutting it off and making money for it. Major hair corporations probably have post or some type of market system that allows people to come and sell their hair. And the length is the major deciding factor for how much money will be made. For instance when I buy a 24" (inch) pack I pay like $24 and usually i buy two packs so there is a lot of money to be made from this. I don't think there is anyway to verify this but hopefully I've helped enough.

I do agree that the Zury Twin Curl is a good brand to use. It keeps its shape and at least you dont have to apply a lot of products to keep it curly. I know in drier climates, it would hold up really well. In my opinion, I try to use the "real hair" like custom. I order my hair from Lugo's here in NY when I want a really straight look. But when I want to switch up, I will turn to the store brand. And you get what you pay for, the good brands always go for at least $30 per pack. And the touch tests never fails. If they wont let you open the pack and rub it in between your fingers--then keep moving.

Is it too big? My synthetic piece did that and I had to tighten it by sewing the stretchy band parts by your nape. Sometimes mine does that when I'm sweaty, wearing a coat, or if it's dirty.

you should never put human dye on a cat...it contains all sorts of chemicals that are not made to be put on animals...you may harm them or make them sick...if you are interested in dying your pet's fur there are certain pet dyes..ask a pet groomer or a vet

why would you want to die your cat? he wasn't meant to be dyed and i don't think he'd like it too much anyway. Plus if he licks his fur he might ingest the dye and that wouldn't be good.

There is also the issue of the chemical ingrediants in human hair dye that absorb through the skin.
On human beings, the levels are low enough to not be a problem, but on a cat, it could make it very sick.
Not to mention, it could cause a very serious skin irratation.
I would highly recommend, for the sake of your cat, that you just allow you cat to be the way it is.

In the first place, why do you need to dye your cats hair? I'm not really sure if that would hurt their skin but I'm sure that it is not right to put a human hair dye to the fur of the cats.
Good chance that the chemicals will burn his skin. Cats are not humans and can't tolerate many chemicals that humans or even dogs can. Both aspirin and tea tree oil are toxic and can be fatal to cats.

Probably. Cat's skin is not like human skin, and there are already warnings on hair dye about allergic reactions. Besides how would you actually go about doing it? Are you going to hold your cat the entire time, through it's struggling and all that, with slimey fur and gloves on your hands because you wouldn't be able to let the animal go for fear of ingesting the harmful chemicals, right? You were thinking about THAT right? No? Probably not.
