Human hair, 100%!! Synthetic hair gets tangled much easier, and tends to look messier all the time. Plus, you can't style it. Human hair is much pricier, but well worth the money. If you don't want to spend that kind of cash, they make a synthetic natural, which is really good. It doesn't tangle like synthetic, and you can style it with curling irons and straighteners without damaging it. Best of luck to you!

if they make human hair the same texture as your natural hair I say human before synthetic. But I'm not sure they do. The only human hair I've seen is silky straight and that would defeat the whole purpose of locs. Plus human hair tends to be more expensive than synthetic. So to save trouble I would go with synthetic.

Get human hair. Synthetic hair tangles and some of it has a funky smell.

eww please dont get synthetic hair get and always get human hair!! cause when you new growth comes in the synthetic hair will look even more gross cause it's synthetic hair
