Can the current use of human hair in agriculture as a fertiliser be dangerous?

No, it is not, recycle is the rule of the nature and human hair is just a part of it.

"Infection and spreading the disease etc." is modern saying. This is because human has super brain and it gets new ideas every now and then.

Hair and skin keeps falling every time and any time, so it happens when you work at the farm too. So, how is it controlled?

Hair is good source of natural nitrogen, and if we don't use it; it is just a waste!

(My personal opinion)

The only thing I would be concerned about would be all the "unknown" chemicals people sprey or put into their hair.

Shampoo residue could cuase harm to plants.

The function of soap is to remove all oils from peoples hair or skin.

Perhaps if some of the shampoo was to get rinsed off the hair and onto the plants/grasses, by the rain, it might remove the protective oils that the plants use to protect themselves from the sun. Thus burning the grass %26amp; leaving your soil dry and create a greater chance for erosion.

...perhaps it could attract parasites, like mites or mainge, that could harm your livestock.

Human hair is almost pure protein. It breaks down very slowly to supply Nitrogen to plants. There is nothing in hair that could be dangerous. My barber has a couple of ladies that come around regularly to collect the hair for their flower beds.

Hello

Human Hair is best Fertilizer for Agriculture.

Hair contain lot of Protein. When entered in soil it produce Nitrogen to Plants.

One way it is a Recycle Process. I think Hair is used for

some Chemicals/Mecine.

Why would you want to use hair? What would be the analysis of it? (N-P-K) I would think the cost would be totally outragous to use hair to supply a majority of any crop nutrient. In terms of it being dangerous there is no way it could be. It is hair. Some areas use sewage sludge from big cities as a fertilizer and there is little risk.
