Faux hair is fake. Plastic. Cheap and could cause a chemical reaction with your hair and cause you to go bald. Human extensions are real human hair. These are far better but cost twice as much.

Ive had both, and it really depends on how you get them put in if you wanna know which on is better, or is going to last the longest. if you get real hair, at least you know that its the real deal. Fake har also tends to break apart more due to shampo usage.

If you plan on leaving the extensions in for awhile human hair is better because it looks more natural and it can be styled just like your own hair. If you are need extensions for a special occasions you can get away with synthetic ones but you cannot style them with heat. I hope that helps.
