How can I keep my human hair weave silky and shiny??

I just had a human hair weave sewn in. I want to know how to keep the hair silky and shiny, the way it is now. It usually gets hard and dirty looking within a week or so. The hair is a very good grade, it was about 80 bucks a bag.

I've been told to tie it up at night, but somehow the scarf always works its way off during the night!!!

I need help maintaining my weave because it's very expensive to have it done! I hate it when my weave looks ratty within a week though.

Please help!

I got my hair sewn in about a month ago also. I used Remi hair which is what I am assuming you used as well. I am was having the same problem. I switched to using a doo rag instead of a regular scarf becuase it stayed on better during the night. When I went to the beauty shop to have my hair styled, my beautician sprayed some light conditioner on the weave before she curled it, i am not sure what effect it had on my weave, but it looked very nice after she got done. I hope that helped! :)

buy a good quality silk material pillow case and dint spray too much staff on it. if you a person who sweats at night dont tie it because you will make it wet and trouble starts.

Brush the weave starting from the bottom and make your way to the top. To make it silky apply a quater size of mousse onto it. Don't use sheen sprays because it will cause the hair tracks to slip out.

Treat the weave as you would treat your hair have it wash reguarly.
