Number 33 is like a dark blond and number 2 is a black so that'll mix well. Also BEVERLY JOHNSON have some great weave and products. The hair comes in Synthetic and Human and they are both great.

Yes a lot of hairdresser won't do them as they can make your hair fall out. They can be used short term for a special occasion but not for long term.....Victoria Beckham had hers taken out as they caused her hair for fall out.

Putting hair on hair, wont damage your hair. However the condition of it matters, i wouldn't advise horse hair. Extentions will ruin your hair. Jennifer Anniston told the public to NEVER get hair extentions as they completely ruin your hair. I have had the glue in ones and ended up with bald patches. They may sometimes look good, but ruining your true real beauty isnt worth it! if you want them, get clip-ins
Best Thing To Do Is Get Clip In Extensions Cos if You Dont Like Them You Can Take Them out And They Wont Harm Your Hair At All
Hair extensions are generally a bad idea as they strain your own hair, leaving it dry and weak when they are removed.
There is a 'net' technique I've seen: Extensions are sown on to a type of hair-net and then this is laid on your head and your own hair is pulled through the holes in the net. The net takes the weight of the extensions, not the roots of your own hair, and your own hair is free to 'breath', get conditioned etc.
If you really want the 'look' of extensions, then maybe you should research this - but it won't be cheap. And don't use horse hair - it's too coarse. If you're going to get these then it's worth the investment.
I've never heard of them doing any damage to anyone that I know.

As for that person who said about Victoria Beckhams hair extensions- she actually got rid of them because they kept getting in the way and falling out during sex :o.
I think the best thing to do is let hair grow naturally. I think it's horrid to have someone else's hair in your head when you can just grow it, and have many hairstyles during the growing process.

For a costume contest, I was thinking of original ideas for my cocker spaniel/ poodle mix and thought of a cute one...except I think it might be harmful.
I was thinking of spiking his hair (he has long poodle type coat) all along his back and then possibly dying it green, so he can be a dinosaur.
but, are human hair products safe?
I was thinking of using gel and green colored hairspray stuff that comes in a can.
I know dogs have sensitive skin so I would like to know before he ends up getting a bad reaction. This will be his first Holloween and I want him to have fun, not be rushed to the vet.
If in the end Im still questioning it, I will just finish the costume that I was making him a while back and he will wear that.
(its a flying monkey costume- a little vest with attached wings, and hat; I will be Elphaba- lol, get it? )

instead of green hairspray, you can use koolaid or food color.
Mix it in with some dog conditioner, apply to the coat, and leave it on for about 10-15 mins then wash away.
Much safer than hairspray.
I know of a friend who used gel in his dog's hair with no problems.. i would do a little test spot on a small part of his skin.. give it at least 72 hours, and see if he has a reaction to it before using it on his entire body.
I think the flying monkey costume sounds cute! If you are good at sewing, you can do a dinosaur one for next year.. make a green pair dof dog jammies, add a "tail" and use some felt to make spikes along the back of the jammies. Report It
If you do anything like that just make sure its temp and/or will be washed out soon. It may cause skin irritation though. I really dont recommend it.

I love it! Go ahead and have fun with dressing your dog up for Halloween....I really don't think any human hair products will hurt your dog for this one time. Just make sure you bathe him the next day. Your idea is very cute!! How fun!
not a good idea, cockers are prone to skin irritation. plus.. its human products for a reason. anddd do you really want to live with a green dog if you cant get the dye out? trust me.. the spray doesnt come out for like a week..if it comes out at all.
oh and PS: hes too you.. like he could develop breathing problems from the fumes since his lungs are still growing.

Nay. If you find yourself questioning it and doubting then trust your instincts. The human hair products could irritate your poodles skin. If you want to be safe, the commonsense way would be dressing her up in the clothes..
ya the hair spray is ok like the spray glitter we did that once and the dog was fine. i have also seen people put purple hair spray on the dog. just make sure you give the dog a bath after.
I want to buy some human hair extensions and I want my hairstylist put them on my head, but I am getting some highlights done so I want him to do the same highlights on the hair extensions as he will do on my real hair. sure. it's human hair. i would take care and go to someone who knows what they're doing. extensions are expensive anyway. it's be a shame if someone messed it up. and you know they probably wouldn't reimburse you for it. good luck.
If he highlights the human hair extension exactly like he does your own and does the same things then no it will not damage the human hair because it is in fact human hair so you can do the same thing to the hair that you would do to your own
you can color extensions but there are some already premade with highlights try those because then you wont ruin your extensions.
Ok with human hair will i be able to wet it and wear it wavy for a while then when i get tired of that look i can go back and straighten it with a flat iron or does it depend on what brand of hair i use beacuse i plan on getting hair sewn in and what i wanted to do is wear my hair wavy some days and then straight some days
Human hair can do the same things as our real hair. The only question is what kind of human hair weave u get. Will it be able to do the wavy hair if its wet and go. Check with the person where u r buying it from. Some of different weave products can not do that.
I'm sure you aware that human hair is not going to be cheap. What you may not be aware of is that the more you mess with it, the faster it will need to be replaced.
I strongly urge you to discuss your plans with whoever you are going to have do the procedure. They can advise you exactly what you can or cannot do.
you could if you wanted it to be like that or you can also try different styles on your hair like maybe do it an a pattern like where a ponytail one day and then the next day braid it and then where it down wavy then straighten it out some thing like that
